- Where supported: signal strength, cell identifiers, network quality metrics and neighbouring cells
Speed Test Results
- Download and upload speed
- Latency, jitter and packet loss (where available)
- Test server information and timestamp
Device & Session Information
- Device model, operating system and app version
- Anonymous device identifier used for service integrity
- Session ID, travel mode, battery level and diagnostic information
2. Information We Do Not Collect
The App does not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, messages, photos, videos, files, call history or advertising identifiers.

5. Data Storage & Security
Measurements are stored securely on your device before upload. We use reasonable administrative, organisational and technical safeguards to protect information. Production data transmission uses secure encrypted connections.
6. Data Retention
Measurement data is retained only as long as necessary to support the Broadband Mapping Study and associated reporting requirements. Anonymous aggregated data may be retained for research and reporting.
7. Your Choices
- Start or stop sessions at any time.
- Pause or resume collection.
- Grant or revoke permissions in device settings.
- Uninstall the app at any time.
8. Permissions Used

9. Children’s Privacy
The App is intended for adult volunteers. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
